In the meantime, another editor for alligator eggs has been developed. This editor does not provide execution and animation as Torsten's editor, but instead its main feature is syntactical assistance. Generally, it is not easy to construct a syntactically correct alligator family (in particular for beginners). My solution to this issue is shown here.
